Hi, I’m Melissa!

A little about me

I grew up in a small town just north of Pittsburgh, PA. Growing up, my father was a chef and owned his own restaurant for a time, which was profoundly influential in my love of cooking.

College took me way down south to Clemson University, where I studied Food Science and Human Nutrition, a place where I could combine science with the culinary arts.

Eventually, I completed my nutrition internship through the Medical University of South Carolina in beautiful, sunny Charleston, where I still reside. My weekends are spent eating and exploring Charleston with my husband, Cory, and pup, Archie, in tow.
